Nintendo Wii

Smarty Pants is a trivia multiplayer game for the Wii. In the game you compete against others to try and be the winner, i.e. the Smarty Pants. You can also compete in a friendly family mode as a team to try and answer a certain amount of questions right before you run out of time. What you cannot do, though, is compete as a single player. Sure you can play single player mode, but in this mode you cannot be Mii character and you cannot even save. Basically if you do not have anyone who will play this game with you then this is certainly a game to avoid.

At first I hated this game because I rented it and at the time had no one to play Wii with. Thus I was frustrated at the single player mode not letting me save and it being pointless. Then I found out my cousin was interested in playing it, so I bought it with my Christmas money and we enjoyed several hours of it. Since then I have only played it a few times since we only see each other a few times a year and I have not found anyone else to play Wii with, but just for the few times it was worth buying.

Overall it is a fun trivia replacement to us playing Jeopardy on the Nintendo 64, but if you are not into trivia games or prefer action games then I would not recommend this game to you. As for trivia lovers it is a fun way to play a game of trivia, but it does seem to get a little repetitive quickly. One good thing, though, is that it targets the questions based on your age, which makes it a good game for kids to join in on as well.
